THE ĽUPČA CASTLE

How to find us

If you are coming from Banská Bystrica, continue on broad road, running through the valley. To the left on the horizon you will see the castle building. Following the road you will get to the vast plane with the Slovenská Ľupča municipality lying on the left side of the road. Approximately 2 kilometers later at the sign board for pedestrians turn sharply to the left and pass the railway crossing. Continue strait along the road, after approx. 1 km you will get to the intersection, take a right turn here. After approx. 300 m there will be a guide sign showing the left turn to the Ľupča castle. Here you are at the foot of the castle. Further follow the system of direction signs which will lead you to the small parking lot in front of the castle gate.


If you are coming from Brezno, you are entering the Lupcianska basin. On the right through the trees you will see the castle building. After approx. 2 km in front of the sign board for pedestrians turn take the right turn and pass the railway crossing. Continue strait along the road, after approx. 1 km you will get to the intersection, take a left turn here. After approx. 300 m there will be an guide sign showing the left turn to the Ľupča castle. Here you are at the foot of the castle. Further follow the system of direction signs which will lead you to the small parking lot in front of the castle gate.
